10 Rules for a Radical President

1. Never Apologize on foreign soil for the United States of America.
In Strasbourg, President Obama urged a shift in attitudes. "In America," he said, "there has been a failure to appreciate Europe’s leading role in the world,” and there had been “times when America has shown arrogance and been dismissive, even derisive.”
Excuse Me, America has been a world leader ever since we saved the butts of the Europeans in WWII. America supported Europe in the war against Germany, sending, through the Lend-Lease law, One Trillion Dollars of military equipment and financing for Europe and the Soviet Union for which we received military bases in strategic locations for the war effort.

Russia claimed most of the actual capital that was paid as reparations after WWII in both Europe and Japan. The US got German Patent rights and some Scientist and little else. America was left with the unenviable task of rebuilding Europe both physically and monetarily.

2. When you bend at the waist before a Saudi King you'd better be having an appendicitis attack.

3. Keep Your Word.

We should have known, when candidate Obama reversed his promise to take public financing if McCain did and then blindsiding McCain by pulling out of that verbal challenge, that Obama couldn't keep his word.

I'm not saying the President is a liar but he has "reversed his position" on so many campaign promises that it is making him seem like man with two faces. His promise of transparency was broken a few days into his Presidency, after his first meeting with his opposition, the Republicans, by his now famous rebuke to their ideas; "I won".

One day after his Administration issued a statement about moving cautiously on off shore drilling the President reversed that decision.

In a decision that I hadn't heard of before researching this article, "Obama Signs Law Banning Federal Embryo Research Two Days After Signing Executive Order to OK It". Now I'm thrilled about this turn of events but I bet his supporters don't like it much.

This list could go on but there are other rules to state.

4. When you don't want to reveal your true agenda don't talk to ordinary Joes.

5. Never tell anyone that America is not a Christian Nation...
"One of the great strengths of the United States is, although as I mentioned, we have a very large Christian population, we do not consider ourselves a Christian nation or a Jewish nation or a Muslim nation. We consider ourselves, a nation of citizens who are, bound by ideals and a set of values." ----President Obama in Europe
51.3% of Americans identify as Christians. 23.9% identify as Catholics, That means that Fully 75% of Americans profess to having a belief in Jesus Christ. Only 16.1% of Americans have no affiliations to any religion. According to a Pew Forum survey of over 35,000 people.

Our laws are based on the biblical law from the Old Testement and the 10 Commandments. The very symbols that adorn our Capital tell the true intent of our founders. We have Freedom of Religion not Freedom from Religion. We have most of the rest of the world's Religions represented in America. We are not a secular country.

6. When your teleprompter screws up know who you are.
One St. Patrick's Day
Irish Prim Minister Cowen was set to speak twice at the White House on Tuesday night because there were two different parties going on at the executive mansion. No matter -- he would give the same speech to the two different audiences.
But Cowen was 20 seconds into his second address when it dawned on him that he was giving word for word the speech that Obama had just read from the same teleprompter.
Cowen stopped and looked back at the president to say, "That's your speech."
Obama laughed and returned to the podium to offer what might have been Cowen's remarks. In doing so, President Obama thanked President Obama for inviting everyone over.
7. When you go on television in front of millions of Americans, know where you are. Kansas City? St Louis?

8. When you are the President of the United States, know how many there are.

9. Know that you are judged by the company you keep.

From an article by Dee Gerrish,
Saul Alinsky – Mr. Alinsky was an avid and open socialist and the king of social activism, commonly called the "father of community organizing." He created many organizations that relied on street agitation tactics, such as the Industrial Areas Foundation, which trained Obama in organizing tactics. He wrote the book, Rules for Radicals, which outlined many of the tactics used today in community organizing campaigns. Barack Obama worked with the Developing Communities Project and the Gamaliel Foundation – both inspired by Saul Alinsky's tactics and socialist philosophy. Barack even wrote a chapter on community organizing in the book, After Alinsky. Saul Alinsky's son, Lee David Alinsky, recently praised Obama on his ability to perform Saul's tactics, saying that Barack "learned his lesson well."

10. Know that because you are a member of a Minority, it should make you more sensitive to other Minorities.
