Obama's Hidden Agenda

I listened to the President's speech the other evening and for a moment I found what he was saying to be so "fair" that I almost forgot who this man is. If you truly listened to him you came away hating the evil people who make more than $250 thousand dollars a year and feeling sorry for yourself if you didn't. You came away hating the conservative point of view.

He is a mesmerizer. He is a charismatic being. He is a Lawyer.

Things that pundits and politicians have warned us about for years are beginning to come true. Every fear that the evil right wingers have ever had are being realized, little by little, every day in Congress, but not in a straight forward way.

The Obama Way is to let his fellow comrades in the Senate and House suggest the changes that "they" want made in legislation. Never mind his cohorts from the White House are whispering in Harry's and Nancy ear so they can get it right. He writes nothing. He only coordinates. Plausible deniability is key for Obama. It isn't his idea. No one can blame him. If you do blame Obama you are a flaming bigot. The Chicago Way is to hide what you're doing, cloud the issue through subterfuge and if any one threatens to tell the truth, you bury them.

Jay Stewart of the Chicago's Better Government Association stated in a 2008 CNN political piece:

"He came from Chicago politics," Stewart said. "Politics ain't beanbag, as they say in Chicago. You play with your elbows up, and you're pretty tough and ruthless when you have to be. Sen. Obama felt that's what was necessary at the time, that's what he did."
"Does it fit in with the rhetoric now?"
Stewart answered himself with, "Perhaps not."

But I think Mr. Stewart is wrong. It fits perfectly for his agenda as President. Dissent cannot be allowed. If you oppose him you are called a racist. He uses his blackness as a shield from any assault. You can't say these things, You can't even think these things.

He has lieutenants such as James Carvill and David Axelrod, that go out to every conceivable venue to bash the awful right wing attacks and uphold every golden word the President says. He's too big to fail. Too important. He is after all the the first Afro-American President as well as the smartest President to ever hold the office. He's too historic...

and he is NOT what he seems to be. He and his Administration have a hidden agenda that is being revealed one thin layer at a time and what's is being revealed is a man who wants to get even with those wrongs he perceives having been done to his race and class by the evil Capitalist. He has a fascist bent. He is going to use his high office and political good will to get even. He wants to control every one. He can only do it with the aid of Congress.

His legislative agenda must be hidden because if the American people ever got wind of what was really going on it would cause them to revolt. These kinds of legislation are the rule not the exception but then there's the other extreme...

Doing Obama's dirty work, He is never connected to any legislation. The true meaning of his intent is hidden in otherwise obscure legislation. There is a real agenda. Controversial legislation hidden in more palatable bills. Something Obama can sign with cover because the main legislation is so vital it must be signed immediately.

His very first bill, the Stimulus Bill was passed so fast that there was no time for Congress to read it. There is so much hidden in that bill that it will take years to decipher the bills true scope. Now he is turning to a long Democratic wish list.

The Senate bill, S 160, is legislation dealing with representation for the District of Columbia. It is the loss leader for the Fairness Doctrine, a bill to limit the voices of opposition. Sen. Jim DeMint proposed the cover amendment, insuring that the Fairness Doctrine will not be revisited. The amendment was passed by a vote of 88 to 11. Approved by all Democrats (aren't they fair) Now the pundits such as Rush Limbaugh or Michael Savage haven't got anything to complain about.

But wait...another amendment had to be offered to S 160 and moments later the language was skewed to better suit the Democrats with amendment S AMDT 591.

The same legislation can both end the fairness doctrine and reinstate it in the very same instance, only now it isn't called the Fairness Doctrine. That has been defeated by the first amendment S AMDT 573 and reborn as S AMDT 591 an amendment to the same bill and now referred to as the "diversity in communications media ownership" clause.

The language in most bills is kept purposefully convoluted so the ordinary person, if they ever took the time to read any given legislation, would find it so foreign that they wouldn't understand what they were reading. The minutia being pedaled by the esteemed members of the House and Senate is very hard to follow. The language of any law can be changed at a moments notice. The change of one word in an existing bill can vastly change the meaning of any piece of legislation.

Now the FCC, if the bill is passed, can require that talk radio stations in any given market must have diverse ownership. That means some of those stations will be getting new ownership and I'm sure that ownership won't want to carry conservative talk radio, effectively silencing Mr. Limbaugh and others in the conservative talk genre. So much for First Amendment rights. So much for Free speech. Once again, Obama clears the playing field.

Porkulus, Overland Park Protest Well Attended

My husband and I attended the Porkulus Protest on Saturday, February 21, 2009 in Overland Park, Kansas. The organizer of the event, Amanda Grosserode, of Johnson County, KS should be commended for her grit and grace for organizing this event on such short notice.

The organizer of the Kansas protest, Amanda Grosserode, calls herself a home-schooling mom who is “fed up” with the spending in Washington. She has been a member of Fair Tax Kansas City since last fall.

“My husband and I were feeling frustrated that the stimulus had passed with very little debate and no one had read it,” she told IBD. “I said, ‘We need to do something.’ “

and do something she did. The event was well attended and provided networking with a group of like-minded individuals who were angry at the way our government is misspending our children's future.

I find it interesting how individuals and entities estimated the crowd. Channel 41 (local NBC), I believe the only local TV station who actually covered the event, said "about "100 protesters attended the event". The website: http://kansasmeadowlark.com headline was, "750 in Overland Park, brave cold, wind to protest stimulus, pork".

A gentleman standing directly in front of us asked an Overland Park policeman how many they estimated the crowd to be at and the Policeman stated "on an unofficial count, about 500". He and his partner had been going up and down the two and a half block line both from the other side of the street and in front of the protesters so I believe the policeman's estimate was closer than the others.

There was a undercurrent at the event too, a feeling just under the surface that subsidizing people who have been irresponsible with their finances is unfair to the majority of mortgage holders who pay their bills on time. Most of the people we talked to, like us, were current on their mortgages but struggling to stay that way. That's what makes the Mortgage Bailout announced on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2009 such a hot-button issue. Why should people who do the right thing be penalized in favor of a group of people who have been irresponsible or unequipped to pay their mortgages.

Where was Congress or ACORN or any of Obama's community groups when these people started to get behind in their mortgages They encouraged Banks to make loans to low income families and then they abandoned them. ACORN continues to act irresponsibly now by having "Activist" break into foreclosed housing and getting a lot of press by coming to the rescue of already defaulted, former owner whose property has already been resold.

Breaking the law is now socially acceptable? Oh, I forgot, if Congress can pass legislation that contains possibly unconstitutional sections hidden from view before anyone reads the bill then I guess lawlessness can be condoned. Right?...WRONG! I also find it interesting that ACORN chose a non minority women to represent their "argument".

It really is time for all Americans to take a stand against BIG Government and take a stand against organizations that hide behind the mantle of Racism to quell any criticisms or common sense. Stealing and suppressing votes is illegal and encouraging lawless behavior in this mortgage mess is disturbing. These are the kind of things that break down a society.

I hope the people that are joining these protests keep their anger strong through the next congressional elections in 2010 and help every Politician who voted for this mess leave office. I hope that President Obama is only a one term President. The damage of his "Hope" and "Change" is too costly for our future. We are the freest Society in the world and I pray God will help us keep it that way!

Obama's Sleight of Hand

What a great magician President Obama is. I have come to believe that he may be the reincarnation of Harry Houdini, one of the greatest prestidigitator's of all time. At the very least he channels Penn and Teller. They are modern day magicians who offer the "Seven Principles of Sleight of Hand" in their Las Vegas act. So lets apply the Seven Principles to Obama's presidential campaign and young Presidency.

Penn and Teller's Seven Principles of Sleight of Hand are:

1. The Palm - Holding something in an apparently empty hand.
2. The Ditch - Secretly disposing of an unneeded object.
3. The Steal - Secretly obtaining the needed object.
4. The Load - Secretly moving an object to where it is needed.
5. The Simulation - Giving the impression that something that has not happened, has.
6. The Misdirection - Directing attention away from a secret move.
7. The Switch - Secretly exchanging one object for another.

Obamas' most famous gestures are done with his hands as with most magicians. From his apparently empty hands he sends out the message of hope and change to his insensate followers.


1. The Palm - Holding something in an apparently empty hand.


President Obama is a great orator. He is given to the lofty rhetoric of hope and change. The phrases slide off his lips with flourish and aplomb. He truly emulated Sinclair Lewis' fictional evangelistic preacher, Elmer Gantry, on the stump, preaching change and hope during his campaign. Sure of himself, narcissistic and very convinced that he and only he had "the one" true answer to everyone's problems and needs while remaining deliberately obtuse on any details. Women swooned and men had tingles going up their legs at the sound of his voice and the language of his promises of "Hope" and "Change".

"I serve as a blank screen," Obama writes, "on which people of vastly different political stripes project their own views."

Having never truly stated what he meant by hope and change, everyone was able to interpret the phrase to fit whatever they imagined it to be. The Florida Townhall meeting in October, 2008 gave us the BRAINWASHED Obama Supporter, Peggy Joseph, who took her daughters out of school to go see their Savior in the now infamous Youtube video...No more paying bills or paying for gasoline.

2. The Ditch - Secretly disposing of an unneeded object.

During his Presidential campaign Obama talked a lot about being the most accessible President in American history. He loved gabbing with the press and the mainstream media doted on him. They couldn't hide their love of Obama and they pandered to his ego. But that came to a screeching halt during the last two weeks of the race when he kicked reporters off his plane, saying there wasn't enough room left. They were no longer a needed object. Problem was he only eliminated reporters from the three newspapers that had just endorsed John McCain. They were: the Washington Times, the New York Post and the Dallas Morning News.

3. The Steal - Secretly obtaining a needed object.

Obama's resume has been the best kept secret that never was. He has the rare quality usually attributed to famous personalities. They can arouse fervent, mindless devotion and enthusiasm in their audiences. Obama's popularity stems not his experience but from his charisma. He had little experience in the national political arena only serving one term (actually only 3/4 of a term) in the US Senate. Even his hometown newspaper The Chicago Tribune wondered about his qualifications. What was his Secret?

4. The Load - Secretly moving an object to where it is needed.

According to the Wall Street Journal, the Democrats have padded the Stimulus with "40 Years" of Democratic wishes. This article in the Wall Street Journal was written before the final Stimulus bill was passed so a few items may have been eliminated but most appear to be intact.

"So said White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel in November, and Democrats in Congress are certainly taking his advice to heart. The 647-page, $825 billion House legislation is being sold as an economic "stimulus," but now that Democrats have finally released the details we understand Rahm's point much better. This is a political wonder that manages to spend money on just about every pent-up Democratic proposal of the last 40 years."

The Stimulus Bill was written quicker than you can spell "bait and switch". Obama said he was going to let Congress write the bill and put in "shovel ready" projects that would jump start the economy. Problem was he and his cronies, Rahm Emanuel, Nancy Pelosie and Harry Reed had been secretly working on the bill throughout the fall, even before the election. Obama's fingerprints are seen in this bill by the very vagueness of it's content. Just as with his pre-election rhetoric there is a lot left to the imagination with the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

5. The Simulation - Giving the impression that something that has not happened, has.

Throughout his campaign and young Presidency, Obama has told us how bad things are all the while preaching hope and change. Obama kept moving the date farther and farther back in time when he spoke about "The worst economy since....". On ABC's This Week with George Stephanopoulos in January, Obama said, "What we suffer with today is not the worst economy since the Great Depression, but The Worst Economy Since Jimmy Carter". In his inauguration speech, and numerous times since, Obama has mentioned "the worst economy since the Great Depression". The "Lemming" Press couldn't help but entertain the notion that Obama was inheriting the worst economy since Ronald Reagan. In the Business Standard on February 21st of this year this statement was made:

"President-elect Barack Obama will inherit the worst recession since Ronald Reagan’s second year in the White House, economists said as figures showed US payrolls plunged by more than half a million the past two months."

6. The Misdirection - Directing attention away from a secret move.

The writers of the Stimulus bill have misdirected a lot of information about what is really in the package. Much like Obama's Presidential Campaign, provisions in the bill have been left deliberately vague and still need to be fleshed out by Congress.

The health care provision started a firestorm In Washington DC when it's inclusion in the bill was leaked a few day before the bill's passage. DC phone lines heated up to the point of collapse when details started to emerge. Fax machines and e-mails were kept busy with the outrage of constituents because of obscure language that could be interpreted as health care rationing.

Clinton couldn't even get health care off the ground during his Administration. Obama has made giant and maybe irreversible changes to the future of health care in this country with the hidden agendas in this bill.

There are also massive handouts to his economic panel members and the businesses and foundations they run. General Electrics' Jeff Immelt whispers in Obama's ear and suddenly GE will receive Billions of taxpayer dollars to implement the Smartgrid 2.0 and install Smart Meters in 40 million American homes to monitor energy usage. The meters will someday allow consumers to only use the amount of energy deemed necessary by some arbitrary panel of Government experts without paying a higher rate on "over" usage.

Jim Owens stands to gain a lot of business for his company Caterpillar. Billions of dollars of road equipment will needed to be ordered when Obama rebuilds the infrastructure. However at a Townhall meeting at one of Caterpillars' manufacturing facilities during Obamas'' campaigned to get the stimulus bill passed Jim Owens contradicted Obamas' notion that, if the bill was passed, Mr.Owens would be able to rehire the 20 thousand employees laid off at Caterpillar since the beginning of the economic crisis.

There is much hidden in this bill. Many of the provisions are only budget increases being given to existing Government departments for whatever pet projects Obama's team deems necessary to implement the President's idea of fairness in society. HHS gets money to provide low income, first time home buyers with down payments, closing costs, utility deposits and much more.

Why do the American people have to provide these benefits to anyone. Most of us who have bought homes have had to struggle with providing these things for ourselves. This gave us a greater sense of ownership and pride in our homes. When you get something for nothing you end up not appreciating anything.

7. The Switch - Secretly exchanging one object for another.

"Yet even as we speak, there are those who are preparing to divide us, the spin masters and negative ad peddlers who embrace the politics of anything goes. Well, I say to them tonight, there's not a liberal America and a conservative America -- there's the United States of America. There's not a black America and white America and Latino America and Asian America; there's the United States of America."

Obama talked a lot during his Presidential run about his new politics. He was the Uniter. He was bi-partisan, He was going to have the most transparent administration of all time. He looks remarkably like the same old political hack that has existed forever in the Democratic Party.
He caused racism to be brought into the Presidential race by claiming anyone who disagreed with him was being racist.

He met with the Republicans from the House and Senate to talk about compromises on the Stimulus Bill only to lock them out of negotiations and blow them off with the statement "I Won".
He promised, with great pomposity, to publish bills on a government webpage five days before they were to be signed into law and then changed it to 48 hours and then went back on that promise and finally he hasn't published any of the bills he has signed so far.

Now we come to the best part. What is the one thing that Obama is exchanging for another. It is the 92% of mortgage holders who pay their mortgages on time. They are being exchanged for the 8% of mortgage holders who are defaulting. Many of these individuals were speculators who were flipping houses for huge profits and got caught with their pants down. A small portion of the defaulters are people who should never have been allowed to buy a house in the first place. They were unemployed and sick, some with self-inflicted illnesses of alcohol and drug addictions.

For many years now I have seen some people in my community dressed better than me, driving better cars, living in better neighborhoods and they pay for their groceries with food stamps. Their daughters have babies and get they get both food stamps and wick vouchers. I have seen people try to sell their food stamps for cash so they could buy booze or drugs or both. These are the people Obama wants to reward.

What a great magician Obama is. He is dismantling the middle class at an alarming rate. We are being punished for doing the right thing and playing by the rules. The rich will all be fine. They have hidden their money in Swiss bank accounts or they are getting richer by being one of the beneficiaries of Obama's Stimulus Bill.

The poor will always be poor. They have been made to believe that someone owes them something. They have lost the will to work hard and better themselves because they have been given so much without any effort on their part. Why work? Uncle Obama will wave his magic wand and we will all be equal. Sad thing is the rich will still be rich and the poor will still be poor and the middle class will no longer exist. The middle class will be the poor.
Maybe then we'll get a bailout.

I ran across this quote on the Drudge Report's reference desk. It [reference desk] is a place I often turn to for my research and inspiration because it has so many interesting and informative links. This morning the daily quote above really spoke to my heart. I have been thinking about this subject for a while because of the enormity of the problems facing our nation.

What can one person really do to help change the direction of anything? I can't stand in front of a train roaring down the tracks at incredible speeds and expect to change it's direction without dire consequences. I can't hold back the winds of change when it is blowing away my dreams. I saw this massive debt being created by Congress and it paralyzed my ability to take action. After all "What can one person do?"

Think for a moment, all the clichés you've ever heard i.e. the longest journey begins with one step, from the little acorn grows the mighty oak, etc. The most important and hardest moment in solving any problem is the beginning. In that moment we begin to form the solution. The solution may not be apparent to us at first but with each new step we begin to set a course that will reveal itself to us in due time.

We may not see the effects of our first steps immediately but just as the ripples created by a stone dropped into a pond get bigger with every repetition till it reaches its destination, we can effect change. This is how we can change the scenario being put forth in Congress.

I have written my Senators and Congressmen to express my opposition on the Stimulus bill. If one other person who reads my words acts on them and another person is inspired by their actions and so on and so on, then we have started our own ripples of a solution. Each successive voice adds another ring of solution to the direction the new administration wants to take us in.

We can't create a massive change of direction immediately but we can take the first steps. I urge any one who wishes to help to write your Senators and tell them to stop this madness. Also write to the most disappointing RINO's in the Republican Party who are supporting this turkey: Senator Susan Collins, Senator Olympia Snow and Senator Arlen Spector.

The Soros Plan for America and the world...

There was a very interesting link on the Drudge Report about an article that George Soros had written for the Financial Times. I had to read the article four of five times to understand it, but to me this is the most cogent paragraph:

"Energy policy could also play an important role in counteracting both depression and deflation. The American consumer can no longer act as the motor of the global economy. Alternative energy and developments that produce energy savings could serve as a new motor, but only if the price of conventional fuels is kept high enough to justify investing in those activities. That would involve putting a floor under the price of fossil fuels by imposing a price on carbon emissions and import duties on oil to keep the domestic price above, say, $70 per barrel."

I believe Soros and his buddies, who heavily supported Barak Obama in the election, may have caused the gas price fiasco last fall that started the ball rolling on the current financial crisis. He and a group of unnamed associates manipulated the British pound in 1989 and almost toppled the Bank of England. His fingerprints seem to be all over this crisis. What better way to enrich himself and give a big push to the global governance of our economy and our government. You can read the full article at:
